One Nomination
Congratulations! Your school has been chosen to nominate one student for the 2026-2027 PCAOB Scholars Program.
The PCAOB utilizes a third-party administrator, ISTS, to assist with parts of the program, including collection of nominations

The amount each recipient will receive to cover qualified educational expenses including tuition, fees, books, supplies and equipment required for courses at the nominating institution

Registration

Confirmation of your institution's participation, and identification of your institution's nominator, must be completed via the "Confirm Your Participation" button below by March 27, 2026.

Not the Nominator?

      If you will not serve as your institution's nominator, you may:

  • Forward the cover email to the nominator so they may review this page and complete the registration

    OR

  • Complete the registration and identify the nominator during registration

Makes nominee aware of their nomination (an email is generated to the student when the nominator portion is complete)

If you register and act as your institution's nominator, you will receive the link to begin the nomination within 24 hours of registration.

If you register and identify someone else as the nominator, that person should expect to receive the nomination link within 72 hours of registration. 

Nominations must be submitted no later than May 31, 2026.

Student Eligibility Criteria

Be enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate accounting program at a U.S. college/university

May not be required to perform any teaching, research, or other services in exchange for being nominated

Start classes on or after August 1, 2026

May not be a PCAOB employee or a child or spouse of PCAOB employee*

Have an overall GPA 3.3 or higher or be in the top third of their overall class

Demonstrate financial need**

Demonstrate high ethical standards

   

The PCAOB Scholars Program is merit-based, but the PCAOB encourages educational institutions to give special consideration to students from populations that have been historically underrepresented in the accounting profession.

* Defined as all full-time and part-time employees of the PCAOB, including interns, and independent consultants who are natural persons.

** Defined as being eligible to receive a Pell Grant or requiring other Federal financial aid for a significant portion of the expected or actual billed cost of attendance, as determined by the institution.

 


Review, Notification & Disbursement

Nominations are reviewed within 10 - 14 business days
Award notification is sent when all nominations are received and reviewed*
Funds disbursed by early August via ACH (preferred) or check

*Unless the nominator is notified directly of an issue with the nomination, the student you nominate will, subject to accepting the award and maintaining eligibility, receive the scholarship
